Royal Marine Commando Adam Robert Brown was born in Yateley, Hampshire, England UK on 25th February 1985. On the 1st August 2010 he was tragically killed in action whilst serving in Afghanistan, he was just 25 years old.
One of Adam's dreams was to own a beach hut at Mudeford near Christchurch where he spent many a childhood holiday . In his words " It is a very special place ".We have now started a fundraising campaign to purchase a beach hut so that we can fulfill his dream ".Adam's Hoofing Hut " will be an extraordinary memorial to an extraordinary young man and will be used by Marines families and friends in need of a quiet place to relax and reflect. Adam enriched the lives of those he came in contact with and we know this hut will do the same. We are truly grateful for any donations and support you can give and thereby helping us make Adam's dream become a reality. If you would like to take part in an event to raise funds please do contact Julia for a sponsorship form. julia@adamshoofinghut.com
April 2023 celebrates 9 years of Adams Hoofing Hut at Mudeford Sandbank. As proud owners of Adams Hoofing Hut we can't thank each and every person enough for the amazing effort that everyone has given to make this possible none of which could have been done without everyone's love and support. Thank you so much again xxxx

Andy's note after his last half marathon in support of the Hut:
Less than a year ago I set out to run 10 half marathons in 10 months in memory of a dear friend of mine and Royal marine "ADAM BROWN " this post now concludes that task . ADAM was not my only fallen friend on our tour to Afghanistan and next year there are plans to continue my charity work . This has been a long journey and a big commitment which has raised funds to help serving and ex serving personal with a facility down at Christchurch for serving personal to use as an escape and a bit of rest when needed . The public support has been very humbling and I thank everybody for that . For all involved I will be forever grateful I couldn't of done this alone . Jamie Sanderson, Kev Harriss, Tom Kibble,Michael Fitter Fasteruk,Dave Anthony,Jenny Brown,Amy Tardelli-Brown. I will never understand the politics of war and nor do I want to anymore but one thing I will understand is to spend the last moments of a brothers life with them . The only way to honor someone in my eyes is to let there name live on and I'm glad to say I've bounced round half the country talking of ADAM BROWN and talked of his sacrifice and what he gave whilst defending out nations security . Life is precious and I'm grateful everyday for being alive . Thank you again to every one who has sponsored and please feel free to continue to . My thoughts and a part of my heart will always be with ADAM and his family and I thank them to for all there support with this fundraising event .Whatever it is you go through in life it's never over don't let anything destroy u if your still breathing and ur still here then there's a way not everybody has that opportunity so treasure the fact that you do and fight on .
